SHIP Life

      Shiplife adalah istilah populer bagi kami para Seaman (CruiseShip Crew) untuk menggambarkan bagaimana situasi kehidupan kami di atas kapal pesiar. Hampir mirip dengan keseharian kita hidup di darat, kehidupan kami di atas kapal juga dilengkapi dengan berbagai dinamika sosial dan budaya yang beraneka ragam karena para pekerja kapal pesiar dari Captain sampai utility berasal dari berbagai negara dan latar belakang sosial budaya yg juga bermacam - macam. Kita dituntut untuk terbiasa kerja di bawah tekanan (Working under presure) jadi self control atau pengendalian diri baik itu emosi, perkataan ataupun tingkah laku kita mesti selalu dijaga agar tidak menimbulkan konflik fertikal maupun horizontal. Memang beban kerja yang mesti kita pikul akan sebanding dengan income yang akan kita peroleh sesuai jabatan. Being away from home and the love ones (jauh dari rumah dan orang2 yg kita sayangi) adalah bagian terberat dari pekerjaan seorang Seaman (pelaut). Satu kontrak (7 sampai 8) bulan harus bisa kita lalui tanpa warning atau kesalahan fatal yg bisa menyebabkan kita terkena sanksi tertulis. Satu warning akan menyebabkan tertundanya kenaikan jabatan dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Menelpon atau VC ke keluarga dan orang2 terdekat saat waktu luang adalah satu2nya cara kami untuk mengurangi rasa rindu kepada mereka. Keluar kapal di kota2 terkenal dunia untuk sekedar jalan2 menikmati daratan setelah bosan terombang ambing ombak samudra juga selingan bagi kami agar tidak lupa daratan. Tidur dan istirahat kami selalu berakhir dengan dering suara alarm yg menandakan bahwa kami harus bangun dan siap2 bekerja. Itulah sekelumit cerita dari ShipLife yg kalau di ulas secara keseluruhan mungkin saja akan sama luasnya dengan lautan yang kami arungi😊

Liberty Karangasem Great Team Members

      Hi.... everyone, this time I would like to introduce Liberty International Team Members to all of you. They're so great in their own rolle, I really proud of them, who allways be there to help me in manage Liberty program from A to Z. Through this I allso would like to thank them for their great support to Liberty Karangasem.

FIRST... I will start with this lovely girl who has role as an ADMINISTRATOR in Liberty. She come from Seraya Village, eastern part of Karangasem Regency. She allways stand by in Liberty Campus to help all of our students who need help regarding administration.

SECOND... Let me tell you litle bit about Our Vice Director of Liberty Karangasem. He is the second in Comand of Liberty International College Karangasem. This gentleman come from Kintamani Bangli, but he was stay in Karangasem since long time. He is one of the founder of Liberty Karangasem. Before he join us he is a teacher in one of the vocational school in Amlapura and his position now in that school is Tourism Program Coordinator. He is really good in English and Room Division Program, He allso good in fruit carving and flowerist. 

NEXT... is a great gentleman from the same village as mine. We come from Sibetan where the snake fruit (Salak) grews well. He famous in the name of Bagus Salacca. Bagus is our great motivator and he is the best on this job. With international certification his tallent in motivating people is never doubt. His passion always inspiring all team members and he never lack of great ideas for supporting our program. Bagus is a great sales and marketing, he is great in branding and his mind  full of seling strategies. He also good in maping the market segment. 

THEN...Let's talk about gentleman who incharge as our financial accountant. Mr Dewa is the eldest among us, his working experience closely related to his tallent in preparing food. For many years Mr Dewa had worked onboard cruise vessel (Carnival Cruise Line). His great talent in cooking make him perfectly fix in his position other than Accountant of Liberty he allso manage cullinary program in Liberty Karangasem.

NOW... other great lady who we have is our Food n' Beverage Service Instructor. She is our first instructor that we hired and willing to join us. Why we choose her ? Because her experience in cruise line for not less than 13 years made her so qualified on her job. Her last position in Restaurant Department as Team Head Waitress will be a great value for our students. She is just fresh from the garden because she decided to resign recently.

ANOTHER ONE... He is the youngest team member who were our millenial representative. He joined us as the last but not the least as team member. Just like me he allso come from Sibetan where we grew up in the same area togather. Left his job in cruise ship few years ago now he manage Warung (simple restautant) in Karangasem. House Keeping is his speciality in Hotel and cruise line too. In Liberty Karangasem his role allso as Secretary.

THIS TIME...Will be my turn. AFter I introduce all of my teams let me introduce myself. I was choosen as Director of Liberty Karangasem. Resign from Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) several years ago and my last position was Waiter. One of my goal is make Liberty to be "Cruise Ship College of Choice in Karangasem". I will do my best to help Karangasem Young Generations in reaching of their dreams to work in Hotel or Cruise Line Company. Every month I supports one of the Cruise Line Company manning agency in recruiting the crew candidates. Quality is our top periority not the quantity.
